I graduated from Universidad Complutense de Madrid in Spanish as a Foreign Language (MA) and Arabic and Islamic Studies (BA). Prior to joining my current employment as a Research Assistant at St Andrews University in the project “Language–Philology–Culture: Arab Cultural Semantics in Transition” (ERC Starting Grant 312458), I undertook research tasks in another ERC funded project: “Knowledge, Heresy and Political Culture in the Islamic West (8th-15th centuries)” (ERC Advanced Research Grant 229703) at Center for Human and Social Sciences (CCHS) of the Spanish National Research Council in Madrid. I now aim at taking further understanding into the field of Digital Humanities, with special focus on Arabic and non-Western languages.
